Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

SkyDrive Transfers (ABN 21 248 582 326) (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information, and how you can access, correct or complain about it.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What personal information we collect

We only collect information we genuinely need in order to provide a transfer or tour. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:

  • Identity and contact details — your name, email address, phone number and, for business bookings, your company name.
  • Booking details — pick-up and drop-off addresses, dates and times, flight or cruise numbers, number of passengers, luggage requirements and any special requests.
  • Accessibility and care information — for our aged care and assisted transport services, we may collect limited information about mobility aids, wheelchair requirements, or the need for an escort or carer. This is sensitive information under the Privacy Act. We collect it only with your consent and only so we can send a suitable vehicle and driver.
  • Payment information — payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card number on our systems.
  • Correspondence — enquiries, feedback, reviews and records of our communications with you.
  • Website and device information — IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).

How we collect it

We usually collect personal information directly from you — when you book online, request a quote, phone or email us, or fill in a form on our website or on social media (including Facebook and Instagram lead forms).

Sometimes we collect information about you from someone else — for example when a family member, aged care provider, hotel, travel agent, cruise line or employer books a transfer on your behalf. If you give us someone else’s details, please make sure they are aware of this policy.

Why we collect and use it

We use personal information to:

  • quote, confirm, schedule and carry out your transfer or tour;
  • allocate a suitable vehicle and driver, and let the driver contact you on the day;
  • process payments and issue receipts and tax invoices;
  • respond to enquiries, feedback and complaints;
  • meet our safety, insurance, accreditation and record-keeping obligations as an accredited passenger transport operator (Operator Accreditation Q900531055);
  • send service messages about a booking you have made;
  • with your consent, send occasional marketing about our services, tours and seasonal offers — you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us; and
  • improve our website and understand which of our services people are looking for.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we disclose it to

We may share your personal information with:

  • our drivers and staff, so they can complete your booking;
  • service providers who help us operate — booking and dispatch software, payment processors, email and SMS providers, website hosting and IT support, and our accountants;
  • affiliated transport operators, where we sub-contract a job so that your booking is covered;
  • the person or organisation who made the booking on your behalf, where relevant; and
  • government, law enforcement or regulators, where we are required or authorised by law to do so.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia (for example in the United States). Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. These help the site work properly, remember your preferences, and help us understand how the site is used.

We use:

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — to measure website traffic and understand how visitors use our pages. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) — to measure the performance of our advertising and to show our ads to people who have visited our website. You can manage this in your Facebook ad preferences.
  • Google reCAPTCHA — to protect our forms from spam and abuse. Its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of our website may not work as intended if you do.

Advertising and lead forms on social media

If you submit your details through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, that information is provided to us by Meta so we can contact you about the service you enquired about. Meta’s own handling of your information is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy. Once we receive your enquiry, this policy applies.

How we keep it secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes secured website connections (HTTPS), access controls on our systems, and limiting access to staff who need it to do their job.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we ever suffered a data breach likely to cause you serious harm, we would notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as long as we are required to keep it by law (for example, taxation and passenger transport record-keeping requirements). After that we destroy or de-identify it.

Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below. We will usually respond within 30 days. There is no fee for making a request, and we will tell you in advance if any cost applies to providing access.

If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing and explain how to complain.

Marketing and opting out

If you no longer wish to receive marketing from us, click the unsubscribe link in any email, reply STOP to an SMS, or email us. We will action it promptly. You will still receive essential messages about a booking you have made.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first — we would like the chance to put it right. Email [email protected] with the details and we will investigate and respond.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):
